I think that most of the comic book kids knew that this was coming but for everyone else it might be a WTF. It has been confirmed though that there is going to be a Deadpool spin off movie coming out of X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Ryan Reynolds is attached too it and it looks like Fox is looking for writers right now for the project. If you have seen X-Men Origins: Wolverine you might know of the secret ending debaucher that is going on. Two different secret endings are attached to the prints, one with Wolverine and one with Deadpool. There isn’t any good quality videos of them on the net yet so we can’t show you them but I’m sure that will change in a couple days and we can update this post. For now though, all you continuity geeks can write down that a bullet to the head will erase memories and cutting his head off won’t kill him.

Weekend box office numbers are in and lo and behold, Wolverine takes the top place. It’s not a huge surprise to anyone but it is going to be interesting to see what happens next week when Star Trek comes out. Wolverine did big numbers but with it already leaked to the net and the fact that fan boys weren’t overly impressed by it might mean that Wolverine will hit its peak in the first weekend. Star Trek has a huge commercial campaign going on right now, and it has been years since the last movie. Trek fans are going crazy and that might spell doom for Wolverine. This is all speculation though, for now Wolverine is the best at what he does. And that is taking the fan boys money. Here is the top five sales chart for the weekend.
1 X-Men Origins: Wolverine $87,000,000
2 Ghosts of Girlfriends Past $15,325,000
3 Obsessed $12,200,000
4 17 Again $6,355,000
5 Monsters Vs. Aliens $5,800,000

Girls and Comic Book Movies. A nerds dream come true…usually. Sometimes there are bad casting choices for girls in comic book movies and nerds flip out on the internet over it. They complain that she wasn’t hot enough or she wasn’t able to wear the right costume and they get all upset about it. We here at InternetPopular are going fix the nerds grouchy moods with a selection of Hot Girls that were in comic book movies. We call it Girls In Comic Book Movies, and we are doing it in honor of X-Men Origins: Wolverine which comes out on Friday. The last girl we are going to look at is the best one, Jennifer Connelly.
Jennifer Connelly is the hottest girl to ever be in a Comic Book movie period. She has been in two different movies The Hulk and the one that I will remember her most for, The Rocketeer. Jennifer Connelly made the Rocketeer way back in the day when she was still a young fresh face in Hollywood. She was a knock out the moment that you see her in the movie and you are instantly staring at her beauty. Here are some pictures because words will never make up for how hot this girl is.

InternetPopular’s Wolverine Countdown Continues with our Character Breakdowns. We take a look at the comic book characters that are coming from the 2D world and on to the big screen. Today is the day that we look at the man himself, Wolverine.
Wolverine has been a huge character in the Marvel Universe since he was fleshed out in the old Byrne/Claremont years of Uncanny X-Men. A loner, who struggles with being the best at what he does. Which is of course kill things. The Weapon X program made Wolverine into the ultimate killing machine. Blades on his hands that can cut through anything, also grafted the metal to his bones so that he became unbreakable. Healing factor, heighten senses, and training Wolverine was a walking killer. But as we know from the movies he got fucked up and lost his memories and unless you read comics you still might not know who Wolverine is. X-Men Origins: Wolverine is going to give you their take on the who the character is so I won’t ruin it for you. But I will say it is very fucking cool. Here is the trailer to get you hyped for today!

InternetPopular’s Wolverine Countdown Continues with our Character Breakdowns. We take a look at the comic book characters that are coming from the 2D world and on to the big screen. Our character today is one that has been trying to break on to the big screen since X2, I’m talking about Gambit.
Everyone either loves or hates this character called Gambit. The mutant from the south that has the ability to kinetically charge objects with his hands, has a very love hate relationship with comic book nerds. Some fans think he is cool because he is a master thief and talks with a Cajun accent. Others hate him because they think he is a one dimensional character that has no real legs to stand on. Either way people have been fighting for him to come to the big screen so they can continue the argument using justification from the movie. And it looks like the character is going to win over all of its critics thanks in part to the acting abilities of Taylor Kitsch. Well at least the female comic book fans will be won over, the dudes are always going to argue about this. Here is the trailer spot for Gambit to fuel your fire and continue the debate.

When Spiderman came out Nickleback was huge. They were just beginning to win all of their awards and selling out the stadiums across the country. Spiderman needed to have a connection to pop culture when it came out because no one knew if it was going to be a success or not. So the studios got smart and got Chad Kroeger to do a song for the Spiderman soundtrack. Hero was made and it fit in well with the times and became a big hit. Now was that because of Spiderman or because of Nickleback? Worth thinking about.
