Wale must be spreading some Christmas love because he put out 3 tracks this weekend for everyone to download. Two of them are remixes of Stronger and Thank You by Kanye and Jay Z respectively and the other one is called The Meeting which is a song that he made when he was challenged by his record label to make a track about why he should be on the label. Empire State of Mind was a huge hit for Jay Z and Alicia Keys this summe off of Jay’s Blueprint 3 album, so big in fact that Alicia went and put part 2 of the song on her new album The Element of Freedom. Having two parts of this song is awesome but having a remix with some of New Yorks finest on it is just far out. Oh shit… The Mixtape Weezy is back and he is sounding awesome. We all know Jay Z’s Run This Town and we know how good it is, but to be honest hova should have ditched Kayne West on the track and put Lil Wayne on it instead. The dude seriously kills it. This remix will be off a upcoming mixtape that Wayne will be dropping on Halloween.

8 years ago today Aaliyah passed away in a tragic accident and the world lost a talent that can never be replaced. There was something about that time in music when everything was going right and people were doing good and then the tragedy of Aaliyah’s death happend and it was a huge dark cloud that some people will never get over.
