Wale must be spreading some Christmas love because he put out 3 tracks this weekend for everyone to download. Two of them are remixes of Stronger and Thank You by Kanye and Jay Z respectively and the other one is called The Meeting which is a song that he made when he was challenged by his record label to make a track about why he should be on the label. Empire State of Mind was a huge hit for Jay Z and Alicia Keys this summe off of Jay’s Blueprint 3 album, so big in fact that Alicia went and put part 2 of the song on her new album The Element of Freedom. Having two parts of this song is awesome but having a remix with some of New Yorks finest on it is just far out. For some reason Kid Cudi thought he left or was gone for too long and he made this song called Cudderisback. I have no idea why he thought he left because I thought he was actually still around and on tour doing work. It’s here, the mixtape that we have been waiting for all week! Lupe Fiasco has released his free mixtape Enemy of the State: A Love Story and you can download it here at InternetPopular. Lupe is a creative genius in the hip hop world and has just some of the craziest lines that have ever been heard. This tape is no different. Oh and an awesome thing about this tape is that it isn’t chopped up, it’s just one big mp3. The reason being is that in this format the Mixtape is more like a mixtape of old when they used to be on actual tapes. You can’t fast forward or skip a song back then, you would listen to the whole thing and you know what? I think this tape is better that way.

It’s been slow leading up to Thanksgiving here at InternetPopular. Everyone is counting down the hours to turkey tomorrow and also counting down to Black Friday too, so it seems like there is nothing really going on today. I guess the interent is running slow today because no one wants to work, which is all good in our books too. We thought we might throw up this new Mixtape for you guys though in case you have to work and then drive/fly to your thanksgiving dinner.
